1. Our Core Privacy Philosophy: Client-Side Processing
CAKeerthi is architected differently from standard web applications. The vast majority of our tools—including financial, health, and developer calculators—operate entirely via Client-Side Processing. This means the JavaScript engines run directly in your browser.
- We do not transmit your calculation inputs (such as salaries, health metrics, or proprietary code) to our servers.
- We do not store your inputs in any remote database.
- Your sensitive calculations never leave the physical device you are using.
2. Information We Collect
While we do not track your calculations, we do collect standard operational data necessary to maintain and improve a free, ad-supported website.
Log Files
CAKeerthi follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
Contact Form Data
If you contact us directly through our Contact Form, we will receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, the contents of the message, and any attachments you may send us. This data is transmitted securely via our third-party email processor (Formspree) strictly for customer service and bug-fixing purposes.
Local Storage
CAKeerthi utilizes your browser's Local Storage capabilities (a modern alternative to cookies) to save your UI preferences, such as your preferred currency formatting, numbering system, and theme. This data remains on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
3. Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, CAKeerthi uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

Note that CAKeerthi has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Because CAKeerthi does not collect user accounts, databases, or identifiable calculation inputs, we do not "sell" personal information. If you make a request regarding correspondence data, we have one month to respond to you.
